Hi (≧∇≦)ノ!
I hope you are having a good start to the month, today I want to tell you about the process of my drawing:

"Between Books and Plants"
During the last few months I have drawn mice more and more often and this is because:
1. I like them (´ ・ ω ・ `)
2. They are fun to draw and help me release stress
3. The possibilities of expressing emotions with them is very wide.
When I first started drawing them, I felt somewhat uncomfortable because I couldn't separate them from their "realistic" representation. These are some drawings that I made of references to learn from them:

These are some drawings I made by studying photo references on the internet.
But when I began to understand their anatomy I was able to play more with the poses and ended up enjoying drawing them a lot.
At some point I began to deform the mice more and more until they became somewhat simple and over time I could start to put personality in the little rodents.
In the last few months I noticed that I was drawing more mice than humans, even when humans were my comfort zone to some extent before, but the mice were somehow helping me relieve the stress I was feeling at that moment. So I started making small scenes with mice in my illustrations.

And this is the sketch with which I started to make the illustration in question.
So we got to "Between books and plants" a watercolor drawing of which I shared its process on YouTube and although I have no intention of uploading videos in the short term in the channel, it would be a shame not to show you the video now that I already have it on the platform ( ̄ ▽ ̄ ;). I hope you like it!
By the way, here are some artists that I like how they draw mice and that have inspired me! Just click on their name to go to their websites:
David Petersen (Mouse Guard Comic Artist)
Carter Goodrich (Ratatouille Character Designer)
